Dr Haqeel Jamil is a passionate Heart Specialist who believes in providing a personalised, holistic and jargon-free experience, in order to address key risk factors with a tailored treatment plan, along with important lifestyle tips for improving heart health.
Dr Jamil is a full time Consultant Cardiologist with experience in all aspects of cardiology, and a specialist interest in Preventative Cardiology, Heart Failure management, palpitations and syncope, Cardio-oncology, Pacemaker and Cardiac Resynchronisation therapy, Implantable Defibrillators, and Echocardiography.
He qualified at the University of Manchester and completed his specialist training in West Yorkshire. He has completed the European Examination in General Cardiology, and has full accreditation with the British Heart Rhythm Society and the British Society of Echocardiography.
Dr Jamil also has a major interest in clinical research, having completed a clinical research PhD at the University of Leeds’ School of Medicine, with over forty scientific publications in high-impact medical and cardiac journals.
He continues to present at national and international conferences, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
Outside of work his main loves are his family, travel and art.
